Privacy policy

Short version: your files never leave your device. We do not use cookies, we have no accounts, and we only count page views in aggregate.

Your files

Every tool on Makerconvert runs in your browser. When you open or convert a file, it is read and processed on your own device. The file and its contents are never uploaded to us or to anyone else, and we have no server that could receive them.

You can check this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, go to the Network tab and convert a file. No request carries your file.

No accounts, no cookies

There is no sign-up and no login. Makerconvert does not set cookies and does not use local storage to track you.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit which pages. It does not use cookies or fingerprinting and does not follow you across sites. It records aggregate data such as the page visited, the referring site, browser type and country.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver the pages and protect the site against abuse. This concerns the web pages only, never the files you convert.

No third-party requests

Fonts and scripts are served from makerconvert.com itself. We do not load Google Fonts, advertising or social media widgets.

Your rights

Makerconvert is developed in Norway and follows the GDPR. Because we do not collect personal data beyond the aggregate analytics described above, there is no profile or file we hold about you.
